Art Walk May 2012 Set
Some friends came over for Art Walk so I played them a mini set. The set consists of new and old moombahton, slowed down tribal (Aforo – Dj Erick Rincon), slowed down house (Walk And Talk – Benoit & Sergio), and sped up dubstep (I Will Never Change – Benga)! Sounds great at one oh eight!

My Newest Sounds
I was chatting with Perry Mason on FB last night. He said he wanted to create something. I told him to come over, but he didn’t have a ride. So I chatted up Jaz and told him to pick up Perry and come over. He thought it was a great idea. Jaz is moving to North Carloina for a job so I was thrilled to have an opportunity to record a set with him before he left.
We pressed record on Traktor and fucked up 9 minutes in. So we pressed record again and got this 2 hour gem. Jaz and Perry handled the first hour while I cleaned my apartment and then I jumped in the rotation. It was lots of fun!

First Do-Over at Cabana Club (in Color)
After a brief stop in Silver Lake, The Do-Over LA has moved back to Hollywood taking up residence as Cabana Club. The venue is larger and we can be loud as fuck.

If you’re checking out that first photo and you’re wondering what an old man is doing partying with kids on a Sunday, then you are missing out on one of the seminal characters in Los Angeles. I have only ever heard him referred to as Pops. He chews on something that keeps his teeth fresh, he smokes out of an apple, and he dances mad respectfully with all the women (and they all love it). If you see him, you know you’re at the right party. Introduce yourself, have a conversation with him (he’s all there), and let him dance with your girl(s).
