Another Day in Downtown LA
This last photo is of a person raising money for relief from the earthquakes in Japan.
Downtown LA Art Walk
Click this photo to see a few more Art Walk photos. I’d post the photos of Far East Movement’s street show, but I don’t give a shit about them.

Some Random Street Photos

I write paragraphs and paragraphs about photography and I almost always never post them on my website. It’s not as much letting my photos speak for themselves, though I believe in that, as it is being scared of my writing. So instead of me thinking I know what people want to know about I thought I would implore my readers to ask me a question. I don’t care what it’s about. Leave it in the comments or email me or vlog me or tweet or whatever.
Broadway | One to One Hundred
Nearly every big American city has a “Broadway.” I explored and documented my city’s Broadway from 1st street to Century (100th street).
It’s an absolutely massive set. There are 70 photos in all, all shot in the same afternoon. Click the photos to be directed to the full Broadway One to One Hundred set.

Downtown LA in the Rain
I hate the rain. But I went out today. I had to drop off a couple overdue books so I thought I would bring my camera, walk the long way to the library, and see how everybody else was dealing with it. It was fun to see different people’s umbrellas, improvised umbrellas, and those without any rain protection, especially if they had expensive looking clothes on and were running to stay dry.
A couple people expressed discomfort with me taking photos of them, which is normal. But this time, instead of ignoring them, I engaged them, explained what I was doing, and in some cases, showed them some photos. The response was all positive.
