This coming Friday, Levi’s invades O20. Last year this was pretty fun, and this years should be crazy. They have more product to debut and limited edition custom tees from O20, Ritte, and Moth Attack. Proceeds from the t-shirts to benefit the Bicycle Kitchen, Bikes to Rwanda and the Encino Velodrome. Come out, buy a T-shirt, checkout the new line and have a beer on Levi’s. Spread the word!!!

As always, click the photos for more photos. And please, help me with some of the MC’s and DJ’s names that I could not figure out.
Last night, on my way from Flying Pigeon LA Bike Shop to my apartment I passed through Little Tokyo and saw a bunch of friends kicking it outside of Archrival. I slapped some fives, grabbed a beer, and bragged about how great and happy and positive I’ve been feeling lately, probably because my new website is coming together and I saw such amazing art that morning, and they said, “that’s great, send the vibes our way . . .” and I knew something was up. I couldn’t believe it when Steve and Jason told me that the store, at that location, was done and they had to be out in a matter of days. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at least the brand is not dead.
Imagine how crappy Little Tokyo would be if it had Crate and Barrels and Gaps and PacSuns? Do you want Matsumoto’s 2nd Street Jazz or a T.G.I. Fridays? Kimura camera store is gone, and now Archrival! I can’t even bike down 2nd St. anymore.
